TVS supercharger possible??
I was just looking around and was thinking of the new TVS supercharger and know their a HUGE improvement over anything eaton has ever done not to mention the M112 that is stock on our XJR cars. Was wondering if anyone has ever tried one of these if so results and if not what are some thoughts. I know the twin screw is awesome but its also about the same price as the entire 98 to 00 jag XJR. I just picked my 99 XJR with 45k on it for 6k n just see it as pretty crazy that you could buy an entire jag for the price of putting a twin on it.
So got me to thinking about the TVS looks like you can get one pretty cheap on ebay mainly the GT500 but what do you guys think??

I don't think anyone has done this seeing as the TVS series is pretty new, but I think it would be awesome, however the amount of custom work required to carry this out would be immense.
consider the way the stock supercharger is mounted "upside down" in the V of the V8 with the 2 intercoolers on top of it, making all of the stuff that you would need to plumb everything up would be a challenge. this is a cramped engine compartment so there is barely any room to do much of anything different than the stock configuration.
But, people have put kenne bell superchargers in there and those things are pretty big, so anything is possible.
That being said, the TVS series superchargers seem to be very nice, higher output power with less heat and less power consumed than the M112.
also ecu tuning is expensive but can be done

There are members on here you can talk to about this conversion, Avos is the go to guy in my opinion, his car has 50k miles on it with a twin screw. He's running the standard ECU maps.
Also Buckethead imports are working on another member's car, Thundercat, with a twinny conversion, at least I think they are, it's all a bit secret at the moment.
I'm considering this as a future upgrade, so any info on the Ford unit would be interesting, what ever you do, keep us updated.
