TWO SELLERS DISAGREE! Will VICTOR REINZ VS50397 Valve Cover Gasket Set Fit a 2001 VDP

Will This Part Fit a 2001 VDP? (2 sellers of the part disagree)
RE: VICTOR REINZ VS50397 Valve Cover Gasket Set
RockAuto(.com) says no... says it fits only Fords!
They said, "That part only fits other Ford products, but not any Jaguars. Unfortunately, we do not carry that part for your Jaguar at this time."
Their website says:
FORD THUNDERBIRD (2002 - 2005)
LINCOLN LS (2000 - 2005)
LINCOLN LS SPORT 2006
HOWEVER... A seller on Ebay says yes, and lists the 2001 specifically, along with many others that this part fits. (Ebay item # 260760499884 )
Anyone have any experience with this part?? I want to order but don't know who to believe!
Thanks so much,
SirJag

The AJ27 and AJ28 cam cover sets are the same but the front cover sets are different.
The front cover set Rock Auto sells is for the Ford or S-Type AJ28 and the outer seal will NOT fit the AJ26 or AJ27 engines. The shorter inner seal is the same.
The cam cover sets do not have the VVT seal included.
I have purchased both sets and that is what I have found.

I am having trouble getting my cam cover gaskets to seal. I keep getting a leak at the point where the front cam cover meets the block. I have had it off twice now trying to seal the joint. I know they say to put a blob of sealant at the joint and I did that. I am still getting a pretty good leak at that joint. If anyone has any tricks or tips I would be grateful. Btw its a new gasket, but I will buy two new ones if it will seal the darn thing up.
