Talking Two weeks with the XJR

Well, I thought I would update everyone about my car "Nigel". We have how spent two weeks together, and he has cost me about $2k in addition to purchase price. That cost was for tires, full service, replacement of weak transmission mount, serpentine & supercharger belts, four wheel alignment, air filter, and full transmission service. I can say this...I grow more in love with my car every single day. I LOVE MY CAR!!! That is all. Happy motoring!

Yes we do. Nothing quite like em. The only car I have owned that is "perfect" in every way for me. Every time I think about getting a different car, I come back to how much I love it.

Congrats on your purchase of what is arguably one of the finest automobiles ever manufactured! I am nearing the two week milestone (this Sunday, to be exact) of the purchase of my first Jaguar, a 1999 XJR, and I find myself falling more and more in love with this beautiful feline, as well. Even all of the little quirks that come with owning a Jaguar.

I don't know, I am getting bored with my XJ8. I haven't had to fix anything in a week. Last thing I did was recharge the AC, took four minutes, mostly in re- installing the plastic.

Maybe I will wax it again. . . .
