How many of you utilize the under-hood toolkit space. I don't have the original toolkit, which is actually pretty sparse anyway, (pliers, screwdriver, couple of open-ended wrenches and some bulbs), and any serious toolkit is best stored in the trunk, but I do keep a few "essentials" in mine and find it handy at times to be able to access a small flashlight, or tire pressure gauge, or small screwdriver easily from under the hood.
The original tool kits can get pretty pricey, and I guess they are desirable if you want your vehicle to have that 100% original look.

I have the OEM tool kit and it is useful if you get stuck somewhere. The screwdriver flat head will fit into the slots on the battery clamp bolts and allow you to unscrew it and the spanners allow you to remove the battery. I do of course carry a more comprehensive selection of tools, equipment and spares but I keep them underneath the boot floor in the spare wheel well.
