for good measure im going to change my upper timing tensioners. What kit do i need to put the aluminum newer ones in with the different bolts?

 

If you order them from motorcars ltd they come with the new correct bolts. Do the zip tie method.

 

What should i expect to pay?

 

Here are the part numbers for the tensioners:
2W9Z6K254BA
2W9Z6K254CA

and the bolts (you will need 4): W500301S300

Call your local Ford part supplier and give them the above part numbers. They are the same as Jaguar but for much less.Don't forget the bolts, as the metal tensioners require shorter bolt.

Also, get the valve cover gaskets. Some recommend aftermarket, but I'd go OEM as its something that you will not replace often (we all hope).
