URGENT! Error-code: Pecus T
Hello and best wishes to all of you,
yesterday I touched a kerbstone while parking (at only 2mph)with the inner side of the righthand side backwheel. The car would not start afterwards and gave the error code:PECUS T and also problem with tractioncontrol.
I disconnected the battery for about 10 minutes and the car started again this morning. Although only once. The second time it would not. startermotor cranks but car doesn't start.
How can I reset this error-code?[:@][:@]
Thanks for your reply because I am leaving on a ski-ytrip tomorrownight.

RE: URGENT! Error-code: Pecus T
pecus are module programming faults, Pecus P(powertrain module) pecus b(body processor) pecus t(transmission control module) and on and on. I would say new need to go to the dealer to see if the fault with a module or the network itself, and Is probobly a network problem since you have a no start condition

"For JK not enough information."
That is part of the problem. With the exception of the warning there are absolutely no overt signs that anything is wrong. The car is running well, shifting smoothly, etc. There was no "traumatic" (sorry, can't think of the right word) event that preceded this warning indicator. Now I am being told I might have to replace the transmission ECU which will be big $$$.
Is there anything I should check to generate more complete background info?
