the car was listed in chicago for like 6k a couple months ago. the previous owner was pretty knowledgeable

Maybe we could get Legit street cars (YouTube guy in Chicago) to buy it and put it through the ringer. He’s had a monster of a job on an 04’ish MB CL65 AMG V12 TT car.

Probably a curbstoner. Works with or associated with a dealer. Not technically illegal, just shady. The 99 XJR I'm looking at is the same way. Works for a BHPH dealer, but private sale.

I can find XJRs every day. The one I linked was an SV8. Those are pretty rare cats. Not that I need an SV8 but it was always the dream/want.

curtis73, I sent you a message about an '01 VDP S/C (renamed the Super V8 in '02 and beyond) in Richmond, VA. A bit closer to you, than me, a bit more than I want to spend. Wanted to make sure you knew about it, since you and I are essentially looking for the same models (XJR or Super V8. I'm looking to stay in the '01 - '03 MY). LOL
