Sorry to hear that.
The cars are unibody, so it just depends on how bad it is...most likely they will total the car...but you never know.
Post a pic when you get a chance.

If the impact was above the frame rails there is a small chance that only the upper crossmember is bent, what happens is the upper crossmemeber will move back with such force that the spot welds will fail and that will bend your fenders making it seem as thought he frame is pushed back.
There is a chance the frame has been moved down, this is easy to fix.
Please put up some pictures of the accident. That will give us a better idea of the impact.

Sorry man,......not a good week for the kitties, seems like. Mine had a catastrophic heart failure, and yours got banged up.
Most likely it will be "total loss". Insurance companies price the parts needed to fix it, and it usually amounts to more that the cat is worth in their books. To us, they are worth more of course. So,......price the repairs with junkyard parts, source the labor, collect the money from the insurance, buy the cat back from them, and fix it. Chances are,.....you'll be money ahead. Down side? You will have "salvage title" (my wife's car has it, and you can't tell). It's not "worth" much with the branded title, but you can drive it untill it dies.
It's funny how we get attached to these things. My wife was more upset about my Garfield, than me ("poor Garfield, you are thinking about cutting it up, and selling it in pieces!?" ...her words). When I said that I might pull the engine out of her Tabby, she was almost crying ("you CAN'T trade my Tabby's life for him!"). Seems like my VDP will have the top end redone, and the wife will be happy.
I also have a lot of attachment to my VDP, but to me dollars and sense (cents), are predominant. If the money makes sense, I'll do whatever,.....no emotions. Just like in the war,....you pull the trigger, and you don't think about it any more.
Good luck with the repairs, and whatever decision you make, let us know.

With the year of the car, the insurance would be better off to total your car
and you get another one.
The reason I say this, Jaguar is no longer making a lot of our sub-frame to uni-body cages/k members anymore, and I highly suggest you don't drop in a used one unless you want problems later.
