Default Vibration when driving intermittent with restricted performance always on

Hi I'm a new member..
I've bought an xj8 2000 reg about two years never had an issue till now recently it came up on dash asc and trac not available and restricted performance I do most of my own mechanics so I researched and after soldering the module cured that issue but the restricted pro is another I can not get my head around ? I connected the reader and found no fault codes one stored which was a coil pack which I have changed out now but still have restricted performance with no mil on tick over is fine upto 1500 revs but driving it develops what seems like a gearbox suffering where the car vibrates more revs get worse but not all the time very intermittent please any suggestions would be grateful

As you've already posted an Intro, I've moved your question from New Member Area - Intro a MUST to X308 forum. This is the place to post technical questions about your model.

Maybe changed the wrong coil or used a bad new one.

Could be as simple as spark plugs. How many miles since the last change?

Yes, it is also called G-spot, after Ernst Gräfenberg who discovered it.

Here's a diagram showing the cylinder numbering for your engine (diagram on left). So a P0303 or P0353 DTC would suggest a problem in the third cylinder from the front of the engine in the right-hand bank (as viewed from the driver's seat), alternately referred to as Bank 1 or Bank A. The left-hand bank is Bank 2 or Bank B:

You can download the Jaguar-specific definitions and possible causes of diagnostic trouble codes here:

Cheers,

Don
