Question Want like-new rear suspension - what parts do I need to swap?

Getting my front-suspension done this weekend as per this thread: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...5/#post1504736

Next I want to swap out the rear wear-prone parts - presumably there is no tie rods or rear sway bar (on a VDP standard-N/A), so what parts would I need? My guess is:

Shock Mount, rear upper, right
Shock Mount, rear upper, left
x2 Shock Mount, rear lower
x2 Shock absorbers
x2 Ball Joints
x4 Control Arm Bushing, upper
x4 Control Arm Bushing, lower

This is from an older post, but don't forget the dampers on top of the shocks.

If you get new Bilstein shock absorbers, they come with both mounting bushes, upper and lower, for the rear that is.

There are no rear shock mounts or rear ball joints on rock auto - does this car have them?

yes, the cara has them. The rear mounts are included with the rear shocks they sell, but not separately. You can find those separately on Motorcarsltd.com tho, and other sites. Ball joints as well. I thought someone mentioned that they are the same front and rear, but I can't swear to that, never done those myself.

The rear suspension has no ball joints.

My mistake, can't remember where I saw that, and I think I had both threads open at the same time and wasn't watching what diagrams I was flipping by. But yeah, I feel silly, actually thinking about it.

So basically, there are only shocks (with mounts included) and suspension arm bushings?

No, those pieces that look like washers, are the mounts. The mounting plate doesn't need to be replaced (that's the part that goes up into the chassis) but those pieces in the picture get sandwiched against the plate. Here's the X300 diagram, but the 308 is basically the same, it'll give you an idea of how it goes together.

The only pieces you won't have, are the bolt itself, which should be ok, and the parts on the left side 3,4,5 which are large rings. Those I got from Motorcars I think? But the shock from rockauto comes with everything you see on the right of the picture, top to bottom, minus the bolt.
