Water/methanol kits-do they really work?

BIP's Dyno is a Dyno Dynamics which measured about 35hp lower than the other dyno I had it on. Let me know how it works. Have a look at my car while you are at Buckhead. He can also show you my dyno sheet. Let us know what you come up with. Tony should be able to take care of you.

Here is the dyno run at BIP. Buckhead Imports's Photos - Dyno Sheets | Facebook . I think your tune is the problem. I don't like Eurotek's tune. I don't remember the torque # from my first dyno run but hp was 376 on dynojet.

Yeah mine is currently eurotek and i don't care for it. I don't think it was well thought out when it was created. It leaves alot of power on the table. Tony at BIP won't steer you wrong. you need to tune for water/meth and increased boost. more fuel etc. i don't care what anyone says, it needs to happen. I think eurotek is a "box tune" if that makes any sense. Stay tuned in for performance mods on project overboost and I think you will be happy with what it offers the both of us. p.s. 310 on the buckhead dyno is no joke either, thats some power.

Just watch out for meth when used before the eaton as the meth injection will literally eat the rotor coating right off it. I have seen it happen on many occassions and it will happen, its a very fragile coating.
As for the tunes I dont like euroteks very minimal time spent on it not alot done. I hear from Tony that his will be pretty great. I have a guy working on a tune for the XJR that should be awesome.
To me your numbers seem a bit low but thts me lol, I took my 99 XJR that has 45k on it and only mod I have is custom belt tensioner (stock one is too weak allows slippage so I designed my own) and a 2.5 catback exhaust with X-pipe and a fresh tune up. Mine made 339rwhp and 341 rwtq on a dynojet and thts through a stock airfilter. I am designing my own 3.5 true cold air inlet right now tht should bring power up a few ponies as well.

Hello fellow members! Well as for the dyne stats they still remain the same BUT the car has been transformed into a BEAST! The guys at BIP (Jason, Tony & Greg) explained how there Dyno works as compared to a Dynojet. They stated the dyno numbers will be lower than Dynojet. What I've learned is you have to drive the car first to feel the difference and you can DEFINITELY tell the difference! I'm going to take it to the Dynolab on Thursday for testing. My guess is the car will read 355 to 360 at the rear wheel and the torque will read 360 to 370 lb/ft. Stay tuned!
