Wellseal for replacing ignition coil?
I have replaced my ignition coils one by one over the last 10 years. I am about to replace the 6th one. I learned how to do it by reading a thread on this forum.
“Replace an Ignition Coil on a 99 Jaguar XK8 VDP V8”
I never used Wellseal or anything & just pushed/wiggled the new coil onto the spark plug.
I’ve been waiting on a new coil from SNG Barratt & just found out they have been holding the order due to out of stock wellseal! I never even heard of it & didn’t order it. Apparently, they send it with a coil order & I assume some use this when replacing coils.
Any opinions on my NOT using wellseal when I replace coils?
Thanks!
