What did you do to your X308 Today?

Did the 185,000 mile synthetic oil change and then went on a road trip. No surprises. Nice to have a 3,000 mile reprieve from spending Big $$$$.
Bought the Jag Enhancement from Auto Enginuity. Cheap insurance to have...... Next I need to install my JAG CDR ipod adapter. Then clean and
wax the car after it stops raining.

Mines the 3.2 litre engine so that makes sense, plus some was checking out the new Mornington Peninsula freeway. (that's a nice flat, wide road without traffic lights) but I guess you have seen pictures of them.
I was under the impression that 10L per 100K was 30MPG ? Do the make apple based ethanol on your Island?

Put my abs light out
Intermittent ABS light last 3 startups moving the car for the summer, went solid yesterday.
It's covered 1300 miles since the rebuild so it couldn't be the wheel speed sensors.
The battery is fresh off a trickle charge and 12.91V on the car.
Only bloody job I didn't do was the pin check on the ABS module, why bother, got a spare. But thinking about fitting the spare and that part doing the same thing in the future I opted for the fix.
ABS module board and pin pickups for the pump as found.
After a liberal dose of super solder.
No ABS warning light, all is well.

Most of these boards are soldered originally with RMA (Rosin Mildly Activated) or No Clean Flux which is designed to become benign and non-conductive and non corrosive after the soldering process is completed. I have my doubts about long term reliability with this process, but they are built both with a cost and revenue bearing spare replacement goal in mind.

Jhartz/Vector,
Its two polish brothers and their father. They only have one lift, but they know BMW/JAGUAR/MERCS pretty well. Mind you, the control arm bushings, sway bar bushings, shocks and ball joints are relatively the same job since they have to drop the front end anyways.
Their place is called MotoOn, they are in clearwater in an industrial area hidden away. I'll post their card here when I pick it up tomorrow.

Thanks. Will look forward to the card. Will be in Fl around Christmas; maybe I can arrange for them to install rear shocks for me.
My step son has a 99 XK, frequently needs help, as well. He lives in Brandon and sell RVs, locally off I4 (forgot the name of the huge place), just East of I4/I75 junction.

It is kind of neat, more of a novelty for now.
