Purchased a wood trim overhead console, seller couldn't recall what trim of car it came from, but if not SDZ I'll just remove the wood & add to mine. Wood's a spot on match for my veneer, burl pattern & hue.

I have found several overhead panels at the local yard, there are two types I found, one uses a Phillips screw the other a plastic tab to lock the panel in place, bought the one off the 2000, luckily because it matched my car. Only cost $2.

Driver seat refresh was a success now I will do all of them.

Washed it & ended up w/ a casualty, I apparently got a little too aggressive cleaning the interior rear windshield as my 3rd break light decided to crack & fall. For now I have it propped up w/ a synthetic chamois tube lol it's a close enough color to not stick out too much. What's the best adhesive to reattach to the glass ?! Insult to injury the damn windshield is still smudged lol.

Obligatory dusk shot lol

I believe I used the windshield adhesive for rear view mirrors on mine. It's lasted for years thankfully!

After my problems with stalling, I seemed to throw a fuse myself and chose to remove the ems fuse box after a new relay didn't rectify the problem. Beforehand, I tried pushing the relay around a bit and that stalled the engine, so I presumed the fuse box must be playing up. I cleaned up the contacts too.

Being stuck in traffic with a growing tailback behind me highlighted the urgency of the matter! :-)
Time will tell!

I wanted to do this but I really don't see provisions for installing these?

The Vaden Plas have different cushions and leather covers but the frames have all of the attachment holes. Litterally took about a half hour per seat. Removed from the car to make access a bit easier

Hooked up the seat controls last night. Once the wire functions were determined it was pretty simple. Hardest part was adding the illumination pin to the seat side of the floor plug.

Today I went on a 200 mile drive with the domestics. I also taught the GT500 sitting directly across from my XJR that I could, in fact, out handle him. He came up to tell me he couldnt believe how in every corner I was right up his backside again and wondered how it held the line when his would step out. I was even more impressed when 3 newer GTs could just BARLEY pull away from me on the highway (although that Busa beside me was about to walk out of my life lol). Cars quicker than I give it credit for.

You will need the whole back plate of the seat together with the table, they screw / clip on & off.
Not difficult at all.

Just got my 2003 XJR back from paint correction. My god what a stunning color. I will be listing the XJR on bringatrailer.com in the next upcoming weeks for anyone that is interested.

Sanded & colored my passenger seat & will clear coat tomm. Also received a quality 3rd brake light cover from our very own Carnival Kid, so my eyesore discomfort will be short lived lol.

This is actually surprisingly useful to me! Mine's the same colour, and I've been contemplating removing my pinstripes, which would make it look like yours. There are still body lines to give accents, and they're just subtle enough to give the right effect
