At the moment no more ugly sound from the idler pulleys. A few days ago i fix the CD changer, now works perfectly. The power antenna is broke i must fix it.
Hello Gabriel....would you have the numbers for the SKf bearings by chance?
I would be interested in knowing what you did to your CD player to get it working again.

Renaldo....there is an excellent product produced by Meguiars called Plast-X which is an acrylic restorer.
Give your badges a couple of goes with this and you will be blown away.
They will look like new badges ;o))

Hi Xjay8
I did not kept the boxes of the bearing but if you want i will go to the shop and ask for codes, best for you is to take out the metal idler pulley and go to a specialized shop.
One day my CD changer did not want to load the CD I open it and found that the engine that load the disc lost the plastic spiral gear. I found it on the CD player, fix it on the engine rod, i clean the lens also. Now works grate.
I forget to tell you all three bearings cost 15 usd

A few days ago I installed a set of 4 polished chrome rings around the instruments and clock. Also, installed a polished chrome piece around the J-gate. Yesterday, I had the car fully waxed and detailed. And today, I had a new pair of OEM exhaust tips installed to replace the old ones.

What did you do with your old J-gate surround? Mine's in need of replacement as all of the friction pins have broken...

Grandell,

Send me a PM regarding the J-gate, and we can work something out.

Sorry about that

Here are the pics (the trim rings and J-gate surround were purchased from a vendor in England whom you can find on Ebay, the exhaust tips are part #NNC6721BA from SNG Barratt):

Ran her the first time under our ownership through the technical inspection.
In Taiwan, that needs to be done every 1/2 (!) year for cars older then 10 years.
Up-side, it is not much more then light and brake test, and she passed with flying colors (As she should have any test).

Replaced broken J gate plastic with stainless steel one, ordered the aluminum j-gate surround to go with it as well.

The car is happy .

Found a new gear shift knob for my XJR 100 ,
The original one is still nice ,but this and new is such a rare find..

Also bought a spare 9x20" Montreal for the car also rather difficult to find..

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...y-grrr-118794/

Finally got the reservoir, pump & nozzle put in and rid of that god awful WASHER FLUID LOW light lol.

Got 4 floor mats from automatstore.com I went with the 8945 Dark Beige From Avery Luxury Touring Carpet 42 oz. Berber customs. Automatstore.com was super swift sending me out a few samples to choose from & delivered the product in maybe 10 days after I ordered. Here's some pics that doesn't really do them justice, due the carpet not being detailed since March & the front mat having a wave from a fold during shipping(flattened out with in an hour for a perfect fit). Anchor slots match perfect & they are super snug to the floor. Really pleased.

Going to have my seats' dye touched up & conditioned very soon so the carpet's due for a shampooing as well.
