What did you do to your X308 Today?

Here's the procedure for setting up the memory buttons:
I expect this is what you've been doing?
Now check this additional procedure for setting or cancelling the remote fob memory recall function:
If you have more than one remote fob, you will have to do the cancel procedure on all of them.

I did that this weekend after having the door dings removed last week. That clay bar is amazing stuff. Today after work I fixed a loose piece of interior trim. Slowly I'm getting it back to looking like new again.

No one else drives my cars so I rarely move steering wheel, seat or mirror positions. However, I certainly haven't had to set these up again after a 'hard reset' the way I do with radio presets and window limits so it's unlikely you can clear memorised position settings in this way.
Looks like there's no alternative to going through the procedures in the Handbook.

I did this on my XJ8 and could then hear the exhaust just a little bit more, and it was throatier and a little deeper, just what i was looking for. No drone on the highway either.
On my XJR I tried something different and removed the resonators between the front and rear mufflers. this made a slightly larger volume gain that is heard coming from more behind the car than the above mod.
I did not notice any performance improvement with either one.
My personal preference of the two is to remove the two middle resonators.
I will be going much further here in a month or so with 2.5" exhaust all the way out the back. I'll likely run it without a center muffler to start, then when the excess testosterone drips away i will probably add a muffler/xpipe combo to quiet it back down a little.

I think it is important to keep the two sides connected with the x-pipe or middle muffler with x-pipe function.

removal
The center muffler was removed and the x pipe installed and then the first set of rear mufflers were removed. The sound is deeper, they used 2.25" stainless steel X and piping, you will hear it when you push the pedal down- it now has a roor. Normal driving - you hear the exhaust sound very slightly. Differences that i can tell is that it seems to go throught the rpms faster / easier to get into the revs.
hopefully you will be able to see the piping in the pictures. Performance Exhaust in Evansville Indiana is who does all my exhaust work - they are very good.
