What to replace an XJ8 with

I was referring to the Ford panther platform and GM B-bodies, the last of the land yachts. The X308 is smaller, more advanced and more bang for the buck of course I was just thinking of another sedan of similar age that would run and run. I always thought hot rod sedans were cool and I have a soft spot for these two but the prices are starting to get silly for good examples and most others have been torn up. The continental is a nice car but you are still paying 10s of thousands when there are still well maintained X308s out there with sub 100K miles that can be had for a fraction of the price. Whole reason I started buying and driving used Jags besides loving them as a kid, a lot of car at an incredible value, thanks depreciation!

That's actually why I'm not 1000% attached to mine. I love the car, don't get me wrong. But with the miles on it, and the little issues, I'll be farther ahead to let this one go in one form or another, and then purchase another, cleaner and less-traveled replacement. I've never had as many compliments on a car as the XJR got. And very few and far between in my travels to find another. I've had trips of thousands of miles and multiple states and not come across another. Maybe I should build a garage and then do the whole "make it a convertible" thing!

In reality, it doesn't need much:
- replace the washer reservoir
- replace the under bumper tray
- find and fix the evap leak
- replace the tie rod ends (one is worn, the other I'd change to be safe)
- new tires
- alignment
- track down the source of the low brake fluid sensor / brake light
