Good morning Donzi.
When I changed mine, I went to the Mercedes dealer and bought the 236.14 specification transmission fluid for mine. There are many other choices, though. I was only able to extract about 5 quarts when I dropped the pan, but I have changed mine twice to get more old fluid replaced. I filled it through the transmission dipstick tube. You need a dipstick, of course, either homemade or, in my case, I bought one from the Mercedes dealer. It should be at the correct temperature to get an accurate measurement.
Hope this helps.

Here is information and pricing from other posts, also other websites:

post# 24 "I intentionaly went for the newer 236.14 spec, and then Mobil 134 was the best choice imho".
My comment - Mobil 134 ATF is not available for sale in US -- but Shell 134 ATF is at amazon.com:
Amazon.com: Shell ATF 134 Mercedes Benz Transmission Fluid 236.14 236.12 x6 QT (1/2 Case): Automotive
This weblink to another forum member info on changing ATF in his XJR (post# 2):

Here is another one:

Hi Plums
The search on Walmart brought up the motor oil instead of Transmission Fluid.
I corrected the earlier post:
1 Gallon is $16.97 plus tax for Valvoline MaxLife Dexron / Mercon Automatic Transmission Fluid.
The Mercedes Benz 1 liter bottles on Ebay that forum member vincent linked to is $9.99 plus shipping (probably near another $4.00 each for 5 bottle shipment) say a total of $70. versus $100 pus sales tax at the local MB dealership. Still it is only less than $40 different in total cost and you may need the fluid now.

to follow up the previous comment, talk to that seller and he usually is willing to give a even better price if you buy a little more like 4+ bottles.I think he works at the dealership or something as he always has ATF for me
just want to clarify I have no connection to the seller ,but just would like to recommend him to the forum after a few purchases from him in the past without problems but I think he is pretty much you can count on
