Default What's this centre console connector?

Hi there,

I'm about to install my T605 kit using the wonderful X308Bluetooth.pdf guide.

Opening up my centre console I've discovered it has a connector already attached to the 10 pin AMP multilock connector. The pins seems to be for microphone, ground and battery...but this car doesn't have a car kit in the boot and it doesn't have a jaguar microphone anywhere. I can't quite see where this cable goes but it appears to be bundled with the cables heading towards the back of the car.

I assumed if it was for a microphone it would be heading towards the front of the car and there'd be a factory microphone installed somewhere.

Any ideas?

Here's a picture:

...also, maybe someone can advise what this connector is in the roof centre console? Maybe this is for a microphone?

Been curious George 'ey? ...lol
How about this for your phone antenna....

...as for the center council one, I'll let you find it? As many times as I've been in my center council doing adds, I don't recall that connector.... http://www.jagrepair.com/images/Auto.../jagxj1998.pdf

Blue one is for the OEM microphone. Only cars that had the phone kit from the factory came with it installed. See here https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.jag...19a80d3bef.jpg

Strange it had a plug going into the phone connector already... maybe a PO did something strange? The phone module, if installed, should be under the center console container where the plug is. I think some EU markets had a trunk-mounted phone unit, but then you'd think all the wiring would be connected to it.
