From the look of those subs, most of the mass is just cosmetic anyway.
X308's are a different kettle of fish when it comes to getting bass into the cabin too, it's almost completely sealed off from the boot.
Plus, the larger the sub, the less hard it has to work to sound good... In a similar way to how our cars don't need 4L V8's, but it certainly makes life more enjoyable that they do

Though the ones in the pic look like el cheapos which will have a bunch of cosmetic stuff on the back, the subs themselves look like 10's or 12's.
Here's a 15" Fi sub I installed for a friend a while back, sitting on my old 12 enclosure. And that's on the smaller side of performance subs..
It's pretty unnecessary and over-the-top most of the time, but it's a hell of a lot of fun to have even a decent sub setup. Feeling kickdrums in your chest without having to turn the midrange and high freqs to painful levels..

I think that green S Type is a toy or model, mainly because the back doors are moulded in the body and the tarmac chips are gigantic!!
But I agree the pick up truck looks like a Black Taxi, but to me the more modern TX series.
Here's a pic for demonstration.
However on the taxi front.....

Hello Chaps,
Thought I'd ask this question as I'm interested to hear what other people have seen out there. As I drive for a living I spend my life on the roads, and I get to see a lot of stuff. I've seen some pretty tasteless modifications to various cars, and Jags are amongst them. ....>>>>>>>

I couldn't agree more. All the GM fan boys getting excited by it claiming it's cheaper to do an engine transplant then just look after the existing power plant. My Escalade with with the much vaunted L92 engine has been one of the more troublesome vehicles I've owned.
