There's actually a undertakers (or funeral home as some call them) in my area which has 3 X308 hearses, an XJ40 Hearse, 2 X300 limousines, 2 X350 limousines and a regular black X308. I've stopped to look at them, and the coach builders have done a fine job using Jaguar parts and panels, as well as seat materials to create the cars.
They also have at other branches Saab Hearse and limousine, Mercedes and Volvo.
The Dying business must be pretty good to afford that modified coral of cars.
The Germans say 'Gestorben word immer' which translates to 'People always die'.
Undertakers are probably the most secure source of income, period. Everyone needs an undertaker somewhere along the lines. And dieing costs money as well...

Then the undertakers around here must be some seriously cheap SOB's. They have these horrid looking cheap Cadillacs.
Y'know, a vehicle I always had seen as a hurst when it came out was that Merc family van. I've never liked it, but thought if it were stretched for the occasion it would suffice as a hurst.
Scott, I'm not saying I like it, but you have to admit that a Series III does make a pretty sharp Low Rider!
Eric, that XJ40 chop-top in Pepto-Bismol Pink makes me feel...like I need a Pepto-Bismol.
Highhorse, Addicted2boost and Rpach10115, loved your comments on that one!
And Eric, an X308 with a Continental Kit is just plain wrong, but what's with the wheels? Is there a saloon version of the Ben Hur chariot race I wasn't aware of? That could be fun to watch!
Here's a car I just found in a Craigslist ad for a 1976 Series II with a Chevy conversion. For some reason not explained in the listing, this image was included at the end of the photo album. It appears to be a "Jag Camino." It just makes me sad.
