What's your favourite X308 Colour?

Back in the 1980's, a local junior high science class did an interesting mythbusting experiment and were featured on the TV news. They went to a local Ford dealer and placed thermometers inside all the Ford Taurus sedans on the lot where they were visible without opening the doors and monitored the temperatures throughout a day. They found that the exterior color of the car made no difference in the cabin temperature. However, darker colors of the interior did make a couple of degrees hotter. My guess is the myth must stem from most dark colored cars also have darker interiors. So if you like black, go ahead, just get the Oatmeal interior, tho its probably rare to find that combination.

My car is black with black interior and I love it. I think the black/black looks so sharp and black interiors are definitely the easiest to maintain. I have chrome wheels and I think they really stand out against the black paint. But my favorite color is dark blue with cream interior. What a gorgeous combination! I've always wanted that color. If the right one came along, I'd be mighty tempted...

Titanium
I know it is an X308 poll, but my X300 is Titanium as well and although it probably wouldn't have been my first color choice if purchased new, it has really grown on me. It is like black in that it doesn't look so great when dirty, just a dull gray really, but when it is clean it has great hues of blue and indeed looks like "liquid metal".

For me it's Black! I've had Sapphire blue and Carnival red and I think they're also great Jaguar colours, but black on black is the winner for me, a bear to keep clean though..
My paint is Jaguar anthracite with one of John Kosmoski's hyper pearls added to the clearcoat - 1 gram per litre, it's another dimension with different light settings, parked under street lamps at night it takes on a black gold hue, and in broad sunlight (rare in UK!)...it's outrageous!

The grey looks good on the car, and being so rare it makes it stand out in a subtle way. It would look better with the mesh grills though.
Sean's car always attracts glances and looks from folk. Even in winter when the sun is hiding behind heavy cloud the 100 is sparkling.

Meteorite Pearl Metallic - '99 XJ8
I checked the Silver circle, but mine is actually Meteorite Pearl Metallic. In bright light it is a brilliant titanium, but as the evening comes and the light fades it changes to a warm, mellow pearl shade. I have traditionally favored red, black, or white, but this color with the Warm Charcoal interior just shouted "Classic!" to me. I have to say that this car gets way more second looks and long stares from passers by than either my BMW or my Benz, both of which are convertibles (and you might say "vintage" or you might just say "old" but not yet antique!), which has been surprising to me.
