Default for wheels does everyone just bore out 5x120?

I know there's a bunch of posts on wheels and after going through most of them I know proper fitting 5x120.65 with correct center bore are pretty much limited to OEM type. Seems to be a bit of a battle but appears 5x120s do fit acceptable. Most everything I have seen is center bore too small or a couple way to big.

Are you that are changing wheels on these currently just buying 5x120s and boring the center to 73.8-74 or are most running adapters? I see BMW wheels coming up a bunch as well.
My real wants are just black wheels that come out and fit flush with the fenders.

No. 5x120 do not work. You are bending the bolts. Wheel nuts aren't centered in as they should.

Thank you I never much liked that idea and though adapters were pretty much they way I was going to go (as I have on most vehicles I own) it now sets it

Thank you for your response

I have always wondered what the Jaguar engineers were thinking.

There is NOTHING metric about 5 on 4 3/4" bolt pattern.
The wheels were designed with ENGLISH measurement in mind decades ago. (no metric, England was still England back then)
Older GM cars use the same bolt pattern.

Corvette have same pcd but different bore it's not just the pcd and bore sometimes the wheel will fit but due to the design it may hit the brake caliper when moving .
you can find some aftermarket wheels for x308 but honestly our wheels look very good 18 you have asteroid and impeller imo most attractive 18 wheels then 19 there's atlas and Apollo .

I actually don't hate the oem wheels but want black wheels that sit flush with the fenders. If I could have a place that could black chrome them and run adapters to offset them I would probably be in. I'll just keep searching and pick up something appropriate or get adapters if I find something I like that will sit proper.

If anyone has options I will 100 percent take links

Instead of looking to buy aftermarket wheels because you can get them in black and then worrying about how to bolt them on, why don’t you consider taking an OEM wheel that you like and simply have them powder coated?

I have a set of H&R wheel spacers that were on one of my XKRs when I bought it. (two sets of H&R 4085738)
All they do is damage fenders when the wheel is at FULL BUMP. The inner lip gets folded and the metal bends.

I removed them and I tried to tap the lip back into shape. It looks better but still wrinkled.

Cannot understand why someone would spend $400 to damage the vehicle?

20mm does not seems like much but it damaged the front fenders on the car.(STUPID IDEA)

I thought about selling them but I am not advocating damaging another car.

If you google for "Coventry Whitley 5x120.65" you will find many choices, 17, 18, 19, 20 in. Or just search for "Wheels 5 x 120.65"

Stock is best. There are many methods to alter the color, texture and
finish to whatever appeals to the end user.
