Where are the screws/bolts that hold the front grill in place?

Looks like my grill was removed at some point when they painted the front bumper but they didn't put it back correctly. There's a big gap on the top so I need to loosen the screws and readjust it. Does anyone know how I can do this? Thanks

newuser: I have a 99xj8 and my screws are located 2nd slot in from each end. T30 Torx bit will work. As the grill is plastic, I did not see much of a difference when I tried to close my gap. Loosened all four, pushed in & held in place, while tightening. There really should be center screws, poor design.

newuser: To clarify, I presume we're talking about the grill between the headlights. Outside, hood up or down, makes no difference. Look into the front of the grill with a flashlight if need be, you should see two screws located behind the vertical ribs outboard edges. If you have aftermarket mesh grills, I would think the screws would still be in the same place. Unless I've misread something, this should have you in the right place.
