Hi there,, anyone who can judge from this video
When I spray water on one of the belts the whining sound stops and the belts looks okay..would like to avoid the workshop but any ideas for a eventual quick fix?
Thanks a lot

Thanks for the feedback. I know many seems to have these issues and with different fixes. The easy part is just to change everything which is expensive so I'll go with the belt spray first since the belts looks okay and are 1 year old. Also heard of soap, baby powder etc but are all temp solutions. Still open for ideas. Thanks guys

Like Jhartz, I will bet very heavily you also have a worn bearing on one or more of your fixed idle pulley's. If so here's the bearing you'll need (just did one) as opposed to buying the whole pulley for 8x the cost and its easy to do. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=bnav_sea...3-2RS+Bearing+

Most "tricks" will work for a while but return.
Usually it's the tensioner itself being worn at its pivot. Not the bearing.
You can see in these pics. The space between the moving part of the tensioner and the base that mounts to the engine. The old one is wider on one side. The new is same both sides. So picture that idler going off on an angle causing misalignment of the pulley. The belt ribs side load and cause noise when entering or leaving the pulley.

Thanks a lot for all comments and pics..what a great forum this is 👍🏻...I need to look more into any misalignments and consider buying new ones.
