If you're talking about the bit that runs between the body and the glass, these are better known as waist seals. The black ones were a mainly European thing, not seen in the USA where nearly all X308's had chrome versions.
The bad news is good ones are hard to find in the UK, they are made of aluminium encased in rubber and they tend to bubble and burst with our climate. New ones from Jaguar are £200+ per window!! However, it is possible to paint chrome ones if you dull the chrome down, use suitable primer and satin black paint.
