Default Wiper change out 02 VDP

My 02 VDP has winter wiper blade on it. I have a new standard blade to replace it. How do I take the winter blade off? I had some problems with trying to do it and just left it alone afraid I would ruin it. Is there a site I can go to for an inllustration?
Thanks,
Bill

It is as simple as can be.
The wiper arm is just a hook.
The Blade slides in that hook and some latch engages in one of the holes.
Get yourself a flashlight and examine where the latch is, bent it back and release the blade sliding it towards the mounting point of the wiper arm.

Here's a pic...

Thanks, David. Yes, that one is a simple change and I have no problem with those types but this is a winter wiper blade. It appears different. It's arm is encased. Winter wiper blades are wider and a little thicker. It looks like this has to be unlocked somehow before you can disconnect the wiper from the arm. Doesn't just flip and unhook like your standard blade example.

Wiper blade has been changed out! I had to make a stop at one of my favorite auto suppliers and just happened to mention the problem. So showed it to the guy helping me. He took a look and was a little puzzled himself. After a short while he found this blade housing has to squeezed in a little and pop a catch on the front to release the plastic housing that surrounded the arm then it could be removed much like a normal blade and as in your example David. The trick was how to uncover the arm from the surrounding plastic housing otherwise it wasn't coming off. I put on the new standaard wiper and then we went to look at some other winter wiper blades (not OEM) that are now on the market and will go on and off with ease as the standard blade if I need one as winter comes around.

Glad you responded anyway, David. Yes, it's a bit of a strange bird. The car came with the winter wiper which I had not heard of before either. Living in the South we don't get heavy snow falls and even living in Germany for ten years I had not heard of a winter wiper. Makes sense though to have something like this. Jag has of course what we normally see standard wipers but you can get a winter wiper. I like the idea. It was good to learn that I can get an after market winter wiper like Bosch if I decide later that I want one and it installs like your example making it a lot easier.
