Wiper turning on when lights and fog lights on HELP
When I turn on the lights the wiper starts to move up the windshield. Also when I turn on the fog lights the wiper turns on and begins to operate very slowly. When the lights are off there is no movement from the wiper unless I turn it on.
Has anyone ever seen such a problem. Help someone please.

OK, I think I may have it. The wiper circuit shares a ground stud with the headlight circuit.
The lug number is LS18, and it lives in the left front corner under the hood. If that ground is poor, what happens is the headlights are trying to find a ground through the wiper motor.
Check out these pictures.

With the car turned off, remove and clean up the grounds with steel wool or sandpaper. Let me know if this helps.

That doesn't make sense. Did the problem start when you did the ABS module?
Did you make sure the body had a clean unpainted area for the lugs to contact?
I'd suggest a couple things- check those out again, and maybe even hook a wire or jumper cable from there to the shock tower bolts.
Could the wires themselves have been damaged, perhaps kinked?
Also try cleaning up the same grounds on the right hand side.

I didn't notice the problem when I did the abs module. My wife usually drives the car and she never mentioned anything. We just got the car back from the dealer for a fuel pump replacement and they found the issue in the multi-point check. The service advisor said it could be the body control module because that is the only thing that is shared with the two components. But he is not for sure until they look at it. I'm not going the dealer route and I hope I can fix this on my own with help from fellow members here.
You don't think the abs module has something to do with this problem?
I will give it a try later today after work or over the weekend. I will keep you informed and thanks for your help.

I would keep looking at the grounds in that area. I see there are some underneath the shock tower. Also there should be some around the module. I would not spend money on a body processor, that probably is not your problem, and it is very expensive.
Keep picking away at it, and I'm sure you'll find it.

I took the start/stop relay off and the wiper didn't move when the light where on. Of course the wiper didn't work, so I swapped sides with the other relay and as soon as I put the start/stop relay in the wiper started back moving. I now relays are cheap so could it be the start/stop relay causing this problem?
