Default Wiring harness swap question

I'm looking at swapping my rear wiring harness mine doesn't work unless I apply pressure to the connector. Had two questions #1 would the swap require any coding or changes to the security system and #2 would a 98' harness work in a 03' two of the fuses are different but other than that seems to be identical

In your other post it looked as if you had removed the lockover bar, ...did you ever get that back
on so it would work? Without that, the only option I thought of was to tie a few wires around the
assembled box and cinch them (or twist them) until a solid connection was achieved.
