Not entirely sure I like them yet, but as some of you know, my two right rims are done and I thought why not replace them all at once now that I'm forced too. I've always wanted the chrome edge black inner rims on my Jag as it is black too. I've looked here to see what rim size is best and honestly it's apparently still up for discussion until this day. People like different stances, widths, heights, etc. I just wanna make sure these will look good and not scrape or cut anything.

Don't go overboard on big wheels. Remember you just busted a stock wheel. As mentioned, its not all that easy to fit bigger wheels, finding the right bolt-pattern, center bore, caliper clearance and offset to go with the diameter and width. Its one thing on an S550 Mustang or something common because they do the engineering so they can sell thousands of copies, but with only a handful of X308s and only a tiny fraction getting aftermarket rims, you're pretty much on your own to figure it all out. Plus one thing most people don't realize about aftermarket wheels is that they only make one style for a few years and then replace it with a new style in their catalog so buying one new replacement a few years later, or finding a used one the same spec can be near impossible, or even just replacing a center cap. (If you buy a set of aftermarket wheels, you really should buy five, plus a bunch of extra center caps).
There's also more practical drawbacks to actually living with big wheels such as the increased risk of damage due to having less rubber between the pothole or curb and the edge of the rim as well as having less air cushion. The 16" wheels are really one of the best features of the old X308. They look nice in an old-school kinda way and still have enough meat on them to protect the rim from potholes. Also, those sidewalls are a huge part of the X308's magic carpet ride. That's why the X350s and newer went with air suspension. Sure, Jaguar had to keep up with the times by vanity-sizing the wheels but to retain some semblance of ride quality, they took some of the air that would have been in the tires and put it in the shock absorbers instead. Before you go buying 19 or 20 inch wheels, think long and hard about how much you you would enjoy looking at them vs how much you are going to enjoy riding on them and living with them. If you're under 50, you might be able to tolerate the degraded ride quality, but if you are not independently wealthy, the worst part would be all the "oh ****" moments you'd experience every time you hit a medium to large pothole or scrubbed a curb. You'd either have to find a place to pull over and check every time or you'd be on pins and needles the rest of the way home. You might find that you are more miserable than if you'd just let them total the car. Grab your neck and pretend to moan a little as you hold out for a larger settlement and then go buy an XJR.

I'm not sure if you fixed your transmission
and not sure what's the car condition after the accident since you have 19 inch wheels don't spend more your tires probably in good condition if you still want your car then save yourself a headache get yourself atlas or Apollo wheels both are 19 inch direct fit no rubbing no adjusting center bore

Hi, Randy...This is Vincent. sorry I am jumping on your comment because it seems like to me as I have read many of your other comments .you are one of those believers everything should be in the stock form and near religiously and strictly OEM. I wonder what in your Jag is NOT stock....lol .
while I certainly respect and of course I do, however please understand some of us for example me I belong to other school of in love resto-mod and heavily modified cars but still looks like a sleeper. there is diversity of our fellow oX308 owners.
if Eric needs some information going for aftermath wheels....let's stay on this topic...

I would avoid going any larger than 19 inches. even XJR100 came only in 19 for all 4 corners. ( I am aware that X100 XKR100 came with staggered 19 front and 20 rear thou, but it is a coupe with different driving dynamic)
X308 chassis was evolved from the older models not up to the modern standard to accommodate bigger wheels. I had 20 inch senta chrome wheels for a brief moment. it drove like ****.
