X308 Fuel line replacement
Good evening everyone my 1998 XJ8 Sport went into my local garage for a service with parts purchased from SNG Barrett. All went well until they attempted to replace the fuel filter at which point it was decided the fuel line was too rusty and needed replaced. Now as I’m sure most of you will know the part NAA6082AH is no longer available and good second hand ones are hard to find.
So I’d appreciate some advice in relation where I go from here, does anyone have any recommendations for getting replacement pipes made up, if so where from. Or should I be looking at some form of braided rubber ones and if so how would they then connect to the existing tank connectors etc.
To be honest I’m kind of fumbling about in the dark here, my cars only been away just over a week and I’m damned if I’m going to have something as fundamental as a fuel line keep me away from driving it.
Thanks in anticipation Dave

Clarification
Hi Motorcarman, thank you for that advice I should have said I live in Scotland UK so Chevys are just about as scarce as Jag fuel lines but I get the idea. What I can’t get my head around is that classic jag guys over here must have a solution and contact to sort this problem out.
thanks Dave
