Xj8 Completly failed Rotor
Ok so i did some soul searching on this forum and i havnt found an answer to my question so im sure this hasnt been answer before,
I am having major trouble trying to find out how to remove the rear pasenger rotor on the car, Basicly the issue is where the caliper and rotor meets is fine , but the outer round part of the rotor is completly broken off it just spin in mid air!!! i have purchased new rotors and brake pads but now that i am ready to remove the first rotor (Rear pasenger side) I cant get it off, i noticed that there is a small weird screw in one of the holes in the rotor, is this just a guide or does this need to be removed if so , How do i remove such a weird bolt?

you need to remove this screw it holds the rotors on during line assembly at the plant, now they use cheap rings on 2 studs. You may have to use a impact driver the you hit with a hammer to break loose, then knock the rotor off with a hammer, you might want to spray the hub with liquid wrench if rusty, and rotate the rotor by hand as youre hitting it to knock it off evenly...of course this is all assuming you and I are talking about the same thing
