XJ8 Daughter's Bridal Car 13 April 2013
My daughter had no idea what her bridal car was until she saw this car for the 1st time as she left the house to go to her wedding, she was blown away, "Dad you got me a Jag for my bridal car it's awesome!" Good job her makeup was waterproof.
I then knew that I had done the right thing getting this Jaguar.
Her new husband did not see the car until they left the church he let out a very loud Hoo-Raah! At least one of the bridesmaids screamed with delight. People in the church were wondering what had happened. One of those precious moments you’ll never forget!
Priceless!!!

Good job dad!
Brought back memories, I used my first Jag (71 XJ6) as our wedding car she looked great and everybody was ooooh'ing and ahhhh'ing over her (and the wife). After the ceremony my brother and best man got in the front to drive us to reception…. I had forgotten to tell him how to start her (she was a bit modified under the hood; water induction, custom manifold and carb set up, header, hidden kill switch and a starter button + the standard fuel pump switches). We've got picture of me leaning up in front trying to walk him through the start, while the rice was still falling… Great night almost 30 years ago now and I made it up to both the wife and the jag later that night letting the jag stretch her legs on the way to the honey moon….
Hope your daughter has a great marriage and as good of a first 30 years that I did.
Don't know if it's just me but I can't see your pictures.
