Just wondering what size the front discs are on the 1999 XJ8 4.0 because one of the onlne suppliers do 2 different sizes, 305mm and 325mm.

Correct. There are two sizes of disc on this model.

Generally the 325mm is fitted on vehicles with R performance brakes and the smaller 305mm on standard but you should check the actual diameter of the discs on your vehicle before ordering.

As an added complication, they are also available plain or cross drilled!

305mm for XJ8, 325mm for XJR non-brembo and 355mm for brembo( in general)

 

Thanks guys, not picking the car up till tomorrow otherwise I would be able to tell by looking.

Its just the standard 4.0 so id imagine they are just the 305mm discs.
