Looking for advice on replacing the Denso Marston MNC 4205AF 9019 radiator on my 1999 XJ8. What should I expect to pay a dealer and or if replacing myself, I need to know how to replace transmission fluid that will be lost and how to know when the fluid is at the correct level.
Regards,
Ray Robinson

RE TRANSMISSION: Hello if you search the post "Questions for 03 XJ8 transmission fluid and filter replacement" by chernobee, that will give you a picture of the transmission and some advice. The second posting will have a link to another thread with that particular section of the service manual that is downloadable in pdf. You will need metric allen wrenches, jack stands and a beer bong <big tube connected to a funnel> to fill it. The jaguar fluid is pricey, many full synthetics for the zf transmission will work. Ill be using pentisol this time. Good luck
