Engine and transmission use LS ECU and TCU.
Jaguar wires are spliced into the LS ECU for ignition power, brake status input, AC request, fuel pump relay, parking brake input, radiator fans. The original Jaguar wiring is used for the oil pressure switch, alternator and starter.
The kit comes with a CAN interface that connects the LS ECU to the Jaguar CAN. It handles tach, speedo, extra warning lights and error messages, check engine light and parking brake waring light. The original OBD plug stays for what is left Jaguar. Another OBD plug in added for the engine and transmission.
Cruise control has been done, but it's a bear.

Thanks. Still have the parts car. Going to use the wheels, interior and some other minor parts in the project car. Except for pulling the dash, not the much work to switch the interiors. Probably also going to keep rear end if the one in the project car ever goes bad. Everything else is for sale. XJR engine, transmission and rest are listed on Marketplance and eBay. Less on Marketplace because no eBay fees. Have had two offers on the engine for $2000 that I turned down. In no hurry, my barn/garage has plenty of storage room or when this project done, I might look for a great body/interior XJR/XKR with a bad engine/tranny.

maintenance and upkeep. Some shops will not even touch a Jaguar and when they do, they charge twice as much.

Vauxi you posted the above on another of my threads and I think you meant it to be here.

Assume your doing the Jaguar Specialites. Andrew is great in answering questions.
Do you have your engine and tranny? If not, look on CoPart for a salvage one car. I got the Camaro for $7400 and have sold $5840 in parts off it on eBay. Also see my post on the big $ you can get for the cats.

That sucks about the door. When Coventry West was open, they sold a thick, solid, predrilled rectangular metal plate that you’d install as a brace and it works very well. Some people will say that you can just install some oversized or fender type washers and it’s good enough but, it’ll be temporary in comparison.
