Yes, you are right, 1-200 dollars is not so important for an acquisition that will increase the value and safety on my car, but I don't want to look like a dumb overseas buyer accepting first price. As this is not a face to face negotiation, one part can quit very easy if feel unhappy and stop mailing me back.

I just ordered the front bumper blades for my wife's car from Hesperia (Landauto). Location is about 1hour drive from me. If I can help in any way, let me know.

Just made the deal with the WI scrapyard, they have a very good communication; about 20 mails later (as I had a lot of questions) I received the first pictures, the parts have just been removed from the car yesterday. Fortunately, being a "North" car, the plastics and dash itself are not very burned by the sun and looks just perfect.

The phone number off the Craigs that you asked me to call, finally contacted me yesterday. Turns out, the guy is a forum member from Chicago, and you can find his "parting out" add in the classifieds on this forum. His screen name on this forum is "jaguars4r". Has the complete dashboard available.
I posted in his thread in clasifieds, and gave him your screen name.
Good luck.

Thank you Daniel, I just bought the parts a few days ago. He sent me yesterday a mail also(a few weeks ago I received 2 mails saying that the dash was sold), but it's too late.
These cars are very complicated, I have to use the parts from a very close VIN (fortunately I found 2 in WI) to be sure that the wire harnesses match.

I just checked my engine management harness, the code is LNH3350FA ,the site(jaguarclassicparts) don't recognize this number. The latest one on the site is LNG3350FB , any chance for anybody to check on EPC to see if it exists?

Has your car got CATS? The EPC only shows LNG3350FB (from vin F20645)

From what I can gather the last of the 3 letters is the date issue, eg ABCD....& the last letter is manufacture & design revision, sometimes by the month, as any Jag tech might clarify.

As long as the dash matches the front harness (model year) it fits, Jaguar didn't do any major upgrades within the model year...(AJ26-27 is the only one to worry about and you're not doing engine swaps) an issue I can see is a 4lt harness will have added wiring for the VVT you'll have to zip-tie them out of the way. (no 3.2's to USA market)

What are your plans? Have you asked the USA seller to supply the engine harness as well as the dash and harness? You'll need it because the pickups are on the correct side...

I don't understand why you are concerned about the part numbers if the stuff you bought is the same model year - more like what equipment your car is fitted with.

Has it got a power column for instance?

I've used an 02' engine+harness fitted to an 00' car, it works.

My car have no CATS, it's a straight 3,2l V8, 2002,SE, power column, power seats,mirrors,parking sensors,etc.
The seller will give me the dash harness, also the console one, going to the gearbox. The only other harness that is LHD specific is the engine management , my seller don't see the label, but I found that our member ixj8it have one with the right code, LNG3350 EB, being the LHD after F20645. But my existing harness, is not the same as the one recommended as RHD after F20645. I thought that it was a revision later, and the site and EPC don't have this updates.
The engine harness, will stay there as it's the same for both right and left. I can flip the RHD engine management harness if the things go crazy, but I have to extend the front part of the harness(going to the 2 engine compartment fuse panels), only 35 wires to cut and to solder after a 1,5 m portion of cable is inserted in the middle.
I am looking for the parts numbers as the North American cars, having different pollution standards, might have some specific ECU, and perhaps wiring.

A short update, my parts just arrived at my cousin's address, the dash, harnesses, steering rack, wipers motor and a lot of other small parts. The dash will be packed better in some bubble wrap as it's a long trip over the ocean.
I found some usefull parts also from our forum member ixj8it, many thanks for the help Rob, the parts are on Waco already (going South?). More parts here https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/p...t-parts-75163/ , a very helpfull forumer, very decent prices!

Soooo, yesterday I received the parts for my conversion, it was like in the candy shop when I opened the boxes coming from overseas.
Few hours later, my RHD begins the long way to become a LHD, first the seats out, all sockets labeled, they are about 40-50. Today it was a full day, steering wheel and column out, dash out, new LHD harness fits like a glove on the parts that stayed (both inside fans, J-gate, plus many others. Can't post the pictures yet, but I have about 100.
One quick question, where is the OBD socket located on the LHD, left or right of the car?

Flay,
It's on the left hand side.
To the right of the drivers knee under the steering wheel.
There's a little bracket where it hooks up.

I can take a pic in the morning and post it along with the others I owe you.

It's OK, I already stretched the wire but wanted to be sure, can you only check if it's a piece of pipe about 10 mm diameter going thru the OBD bracket, going upside down? The body is perfectly symmetric, but only a plastic vent pipe is pushing a little to this pipe and I want to delete it.

New updates, after a few raining weeks and missing weekends, everything is ready in the engine compartment, new harness, computer box full of stuff, pedal box, brake booster, brake pipes, new wiper mechanism, steering rack and pipes, maybe this weekend I will see some motion.
Inside, the dash is still not mounted, but a few problems there: wiring harnesses for the seats are different LH versus RH, also the ones going in the doors, the RH have more wires than the LH as it has windows switches, mirrors, centrl locking, etc.

One question, is the BCU of the car aware that the car is RHD and it must be programmed to be LHD?
The vacuum pipe, going to the throttle body, how is fixed there? I pulled hardly the RHD one, but no luck to take it out; few minutes later, just pulled it gently and it was out! How to be sure that the new one will stay there? Any trick to fix it there? In the book it just says "take the vacuum pipe out" , anybody experienced this?

Thumbs up did it!

It's finished! Yesterday afternoon everything was in place, and it started, plus a few feet front and rear (no brakes yet) . Everything works except the door mirrors that don't move or fold, but I can live with that for the moment.

Brake bleeding today and road test!
