XJ8 suspension sinking overnight
hi guys, how much should the car sink overnight? 1" or 2"?
i have recently replaced the air compressor and it seems that the car would sink so much overnight that by next morning, when i start the car, there will be a "vehicle too low" red message.
have to wait a couple of minutes before it would raise up and the message will go away.
had the "air suspension fault" message for the longest time last time...
also, what's the ride height of the car suppose to be? the front n rear is suppose to be the same i suppose? cos the one that i'm driving would have a 4 finger front, 2 finger rear. *is it adjustable by software?

There might be a computer initiation of your new compressor that the dealer may have to implement. It would be worth a call to them to find out. I assume you did the compressor yourself or an independent?
There's quite a few threads on the air suspension for your car in these forums, just do a search and see if it has been addressed. I've read several, but don't recall for certain if the computer needed a talking to afterwards.

compressor is done at the dealer.
read the various "air suspension fault" thread. nothing specific on the Jaguar XJ8. though i read something about those from the landrover. seems like they share a similar/same system?
btw, have anyone here done the swap from air suspension to a conventional springs n shocks combo? i recall it's a rather common thing to do for the previous model n for Mercedes air guys also.
