Does anyone know where I can get a 1999-2002 xj8??? Looking for another cat wont drive anything else!!!

I have a 1999 XJR for sale, but it has a few issues and I am all the way up in Michigan...

 

Distance is not a problem. What is the asking price if I may ask???

 

Buy an R, you will not regret it.

 

I have $5500 OBO on it. It's a Florida car, but does have a few small areas of rust on it, from the salty air.

It needs front shocks (not CATS, so not too expensive), bushings, and vee mount rubbers. It has a brand new battery, and two new fuel pumps.

It has 150,000 miles on it. Runs great, although ever since the fuel pumps were replaced, it does bog down under wide open throttle. Also, the shifter cable needs to be adjusted.

The absolute lowest I can sell it for is $4800. While a fair price, it may not be worth the trip for you. I have all the details on my listing here on the classified section.

 

Definitely. The XJR has a much sturdier transmission, and doesn't have all that VVT stuff in the engine.

Plus, it is a BLAST to drive!

well, i have a 2000 xj8 4 liter.....its a base/sport....even has heated seats....recently serviced has about 115k on it....i am asking 3500.00 same as car seen in jagjunky post...that one is same color as one for sale, only its a long....im in jersey...so again may be to far away for you....but if interested feel free to pm me ...good luck on your search.

I'm embarrassed to even post pictures of one of my cars this dirty but I didn't have time to come home and bring it back to work. You'll note the foglamp switch is missing, I have it at work the rear on indication led of the original one was inoperative. Anyhow, this is it at it's absolute worst. It will be detailed to proper order very shortly.
