XJ8 Valve Cover part number

XJ8 Valve Cover part number
I need to replace the passenger side Valve/Cam Cover on my '98 XJ8.
After talking to various parts supplier, it's clear that there inaccuracies, errors or confusion (possibly on my part) as to what the part number is.
I've been told it's either a C2A1515 or C2A1516.
My VIN ends in 844599.
I'm pretty sure I do NOT have VVT or Supercharging.
Any help or guidance (other than stick with what you know) would be appreciated. Any suggestion on the best place to buy?
Thanks.

AJ83637 is the number for the RH bank valve cover. The big piece, not just the little one that covers the coils.
That is for a non supercharged, variable valve timing engine, which is what an XJ8 is.
HOWEVER, that is direct from the Jaguar EPC available on this site. it says something about it being superceded, your p/n must be the new one? What muddies the waters a bit is that although your car has VVT, it is mounted on front of the head, not on top through the valve cover like later models.
So yes it has VVT, but you need a cover without the VVT hole. Clear as mud?
Anyone else want to chime in?

Common practice for Jaguar Part Numbers is the lower number is for the DRIVER'S SIDE (The original CORRECT driver's side AKA RHD).
The C2A1515 would be for the RIGHT SIDE.
The C2A1516 would be for the LEFT SIDE.
I would think that any 4.0 S/C engine cam cover would fit your 1998MY XJ8/R because there is no VVT actuator hole in the cam cover itself.
The AJ27 XJR/XKR will usually have the black gaskets and not the orange and grey colored ones like the AJ26 covers.

Picture of Valve Cover
Thanks to all who replied. I'm still not 100% sure but have a query out to several vendors and will make sure to exchange pictures before buying.
Below is a picture of the Valve Cover. I'm replacing it because my mechanic can't get a good seal and oil is leaking. He put it on a level surface and says it is warped. He's put new gaskets on it. I'm wondering if there is a 'caulk' of some sort that might work. I saw on this forum someone made a steel plug for the VVT hole but I'm in a position to accomplish that. I'm at the point of scrapping this car but my daughter loves it.
Thanks again!
