XJ8 woes of limited perfromance
HELLO ladies and gents,
It has been long since I was last here. I now have some big help I request of you.
I have a Jaguar XJ8, 1999 YOM, a classic car to me. It brings up limited performance as Coolant levels low. Checked with a diagnostic tool, it brings up;
* P0351-Ignition Coil 'A' Primary/Secondary Circuit
*P0354-Ignition Coil 'D' Primary/Secondary Circuit
*P0356-Ignition Coil 'F' Primary/Secondary Circuit
*P0357-Ignition Coil 'G' Primary/Secondary Circuit
*P1367-Manufacturer Specific
Car looses power, and revs wont go beyond 3000 rpms.
I understand that the firing order is Ignition coils A,E,D,B,F,C,G,H. We even decided to change the engine, same problems. We swapped the ECU from a known working one, same problem. And this car is definitely not going to the breakers, it has taken a huge investment to send it to the breakers.
Any assistance us highly appreciated

It does have two ignition modules.
I have done tests, and when I remove one module, the car continues running as it does, roughly, but when I remove the other it sputters and dies.
When I swap them, the same thing happens, meaning the modules are fine, just the first line is faulty. Now, I would appreciate a wiring diagram to see where the first module goes to, in terms of the wiring.
Thanks

Much thanks from here. I got the wiring diagram, it helped me trace the wires from the ignition module back to the respective Connectors on the PCM. I found out that ignition module ONE, responsible for 1A, 4A, 2B and 3B had a short circuit on its PIN ONE to the 24way Grey Connector. I closed this open circuit and the car came back to life, to the ululations of all in the workshops.
This issue had compelled the client to buy a new engine, gearbox, ECU and no joy. For two years, he had got a mechanic who had borrowed power for the 4 injectors not powering from the other 4 that were powering, and the car was always complaining.
Good day all, and thank you soo much whoever gave in their time to help.
