Has anyone used these parts from Mark Automotive Manufacturing (on amazon or other auto suppliers) or from Welsh Enterprises or the ATP B346 from Rock Auto Parts ??????

Another Update - sorry cannot edit previous posts - 30 minute limit on editing them.
I called Welsh Enterprises and the kit status is out of stock right now.
I also called Eriksson Industries in Old Saybrook CT (ZF transmission authorized dealership) they have the filter & gasket for about $70 shipped.

We had our transmission rebuilt at Eriksson Industries in Old Saybrook CT (ZF transmission authorized dealership) in Sept 2010 (92000 miles).
We now have 134000 miles - 42000 miles since the rebuild.
I will be changing the ZF transmission fluid, its filter and gasket - I just ordered the filter and gasket today over the phone from Eriksson - will receive them tomorrow.

I probably shoudn't buy into prices Jim. We have the option of 'dealer' or internet. Australia and the States are not a level playing field.
Dealer prices are not an option compared to online genuine parts. My point was mainly if you are doing it I like to do it right once and genuine parts are usually the best for me. BP and SNG may be more expensive than some options but I know what I am getting.
Good to do the homework first. Good result.
Just thought the suggestion was to check it out as you did.

Eriksson Industries filled the transmission with Lifeguardfluid5 (Esso LT 71141) after they rebuilt it.
Here is a photo of the 1 liter bottles:
Here is reference guide:
We had to add another 2) 1 liter bottles of ATF fluid after the transmission was reinstalled (used Audi /VW ATF - G 052 162 A2) - purchased from local VW dealership $19.00 per 1 liter bottle plus sales tax.
Here is a photo of the VW 1 liter bottle label:

Thats the original fluid - interesting how ZF specifies that the authorized rebuilders use the original fluid. I get it through Autohaus ... They used to consider the original a semi-synthetic vs the later aftermarket full synthetic.
Autohaus used to carry the original MB fluid for the XJR .. now NLA

I think some of those prices are a rip-off!
Last time, I bought two kits and got a regular user discount.

Between my personal drivers and my company cars I maintain about 15 cars. Been doing this for about the past 25 years. My brother and I play around with another 5 or so that are not used very often.
I am always buying filters and maintenance parts -- always on the look out for 10 year old MB's and the like with low miles .. few Jags in the mix.
I can tell you that there is a vast difference in aftermarket parts ... both in quality and construction. Even among the major suppliers one can see differences.
I'm never surprised when we have a problem in a newly purchased used MB's to see some aftermarket part being the cause. Even the cheap air filters don't hold up. The rubber stuff is junk and even thing like ball joints don't hold up.
The fleet cars are all on maintenance schedules ... and I normally order parts from Autohaus sometimes Rockauto for the Japanese cars. But for critical parts or something that requires a lot of labor i'm very selective.
Spending a bit more to assure the correct part in both fitment and construction for a particular application ....... especially something like a transmission ... is correct IMO.
