Default XJR-100 headliner sagging fix

I have a 2002 XJR-100 and the headliner is sagging a bit in back. Any easy fix? Im thinking cut a slit and spray in some upholstery glue? Anyone have the same problem? Thanks

It's a common failure -- the inter-linear fails. The backing needs to be cleaned so glue will stick ......... and a new headliner installed.

oh man that doesnt sound easy. So spraying glue in there won't solve it then.

The OE had a thin foam sandwiched between the backing and the headliner material -- the foam disintegrates. Spray glue will not stick to the backing with all the foam dust and the headliner material will allow the glue to bleed through.

My higher mile R had a few marks on the windshield -- switched it out at the same time. Makes the headliner easy obviously.

I'm very happy with my Pinto , Mister Ferraribuyer.
What I find very disingenuous is to advertise something as perfect but in the meantime being on forum seeking advice on how the fix some issue with this perfect something.
Either it's perfect or it's not. Can't be both at the same time

"always dealer maintained with an open check book... interior is perfect"

From that description, it sounds like you shouldn't have a problem getting it fixed before the sale.
