XJR 2000 folding mirrors
Someone moved the passenger's mirror from folded to 90 degrees out when the car was parked overnight. now when I operate the mirrors the passenger's moves out to 180 degrees and will not stop at 90 degrees.
Any ideas how to correct this problem with out buying a new mirror.

Hi,
Worst case, the motor stop in the mechanism is now broken. However, try this.
Power the mirrors out. Manually move the offending mirror to the same position as the working one.
Power the mirrors to the fold position. Spray some WD40 into the mirror mechanism and try again.
The same thing happened to me once and this worked, of course it is your choice whether you try or not.
Hope this helps.
