XJR 2000 model which brakes and exhaust upgrade???
hi everyone
basically my brakes i am fed up with i think they are on its way out so i'm looking for good set of discs and pads all round my fronts are 325mm
anyway was thinking of ebc discs turbo groove sport GD954
with ebc yellow stuff or mintex 1144 or ferodo ds2500?
havent really got funds to lash out on massive brembos ideally
also exhausts should i go for a remus or blueflame or get a company called www.stainlesssteelexhausts.co.uk to make me one they make systems foe classic jags bentleys ferraris?
they are very reasonable jus wondering would it have any down effects compared with paramount arden etc etc
regards

I'm running ebc redstuff on my X350, and thoroughly recommend them, they don't do discs for my car, but I would have had them if they did. I've just had a custom exhaust from MIJ performance in Birmingham and they were untouchable on price. Without running an exhaust from each manufacturer on the same car there's no easy to tell about downside compared to Arden or Paramount, but with a lifetime guarantee transferrable to the next owner and half the price of Arden/Paramount I'm more than happy.

I have the X308 XJR and put the ebc redstuff brake pads on about 5,000 miles ago, certainly an improvement over stock. as far as exhausts go with paramount and arden you are really paying for the name. its just pipe and mufflers so its safe to go with something else as long as its good quality stainless steel and a good warranty

thanks everyone, update dj dex as of last saturday took your advice and got a system from mij performance, gotta say foor the price its brilliant looks excellent and sounds very nice so thank you for that...
as for the brakes i have decided to go with ebc grove dimple discs 325mm and ferodo ds2500 pads
i will get them fitted in about two weeks... those two combined together i am sure its going to be a very very good improvement over stock
keep you posted
