My first post to this forum so please bear with me. I am getting ready to replace the valve cover gasket on my 2003 XJR and thought I would go ahead and replace the spark plugs too. I read other threads for the xj8 but wanted to know if the same parts were used for the supercharged XJR. I posted the items/ part numbers below. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Valve cover gasket- Fel Pro VS50724R kit

Spark plugs- NKG BKR6EIX-11 prt# 3764

 

Is your car the aluminium-bodied saloon, or the previous steel-bodied model ?

Whatever, the engine is basically the same, so the gasket set will be the same, but the spark plugs may vary, as a supercharged engine generates a lot more heat in the cylinder head.

The body is the steel version.
