Xjr battery?

From what I understand, Varta brand seems to be the popular choice. My XJR had a Bosch maintenance-free battery, which I have replaced with a Deka maintenance-free battery. Both the Bosch and Deka have served me well, but my driving mostly consists of two 30 mile non-stop trips (six days a week), so my battery stays well charged. If you are not driving it daily, or make mostly short trips, it would be wise to invest in an automatic trickle charger (like the Battery Tender).

Don't scrimp on cheap batteries for these cars as they are a heavy user.
The best is VARTA: www.varta-automotive.com

Obviously you will need yo go to US site.

DEKA also produce good batteries but make sure they are Calcium or Silver Calcium for the best cranking and longevity.
Like all things electrical, they need looking after and it pays to buy a good quality multi stage automatic charger to use at least once a month or sooner depending on useage.
