Default XJR Goes to the Drag Strip!

Couldn't get the thing to launch very well. 14.076 at 101mph was the best I could manage, with a 2.244 60'. Track was Cordova, temp was about 82.

What kind of 60s are you guys managing and on what tires?

Nice. I guess my car is slow?!

I don't think I've completed a drive cycle since the last time the check engine light was on, could this affect it?

If your car is stock, the time is very normal. Try again when 50 degrees and use low tire pressures - you will get 13.8/102, which is standard for the stock cars.

Yours is not stock?

What kind of fuel do you get over there?

Mine is not stock.
You can find some results from here: Fast Jaguar XJRs 1/4 Mile 0-60 Drag Racing - DragTimes.com

I use mostly Shell V-Power, but nowdays there are not very much differences between 93 ( in Europe 98E ) fuels.
