Just curious what everyone else is paying out there. Currently, we're with Atlantic States (Donegal) but I noticed Grundy is now offering an agreed value policy for not only classics but also daily drivers and other vehicles. Got a quote and they want 1.8x what we're paying currently for the XJR at $1000 instead of $592 for limited tort 250k500k liability, 100k property and 250/500k stacked underinsured/uninsured with $100 comp and $500 collision deductibles. Have the value at $14k for the quote. All the other cars were reasonably comparable (XK8 was actually $200 less), X type about $100 more, bike was comparable as was the TVR. Just trying to see if I'm getting a steal now, or if Grundy just doesn't like XJRs.
Of course I like the idea of putting everything under one agreed value umbrella and stacking rather than the 3 policies I have now.

It depends on how old you are, driving record, where you live and the population. Basically how much there is to hit and what can hit you, along with parking at your house or apartment, whichever.
My car is garaged, I carry a 250 deductible, unstacked, 250/500 liab, 100k prop, and all else a bit above the standard policy with Progressive here in Orlando, FL. I pay roughly $600 a year for my 2000 VDP SC. I say roughly because I have a brand new Dodge C/V which raised my rate a little, combined I pay $735 every six months. Each insurance provider has special rates for different areas. I can say Geico in central FL is about 20% more for me for example. I check every other year to be sure I'm getting the best price and Progressive has always been the cheapest here.
Simply do a Bing search and type "what determines auto insurance rates".

Wow, sorry to hear about the scooter accident....I lost one friend to a drunk while he was riding home from work late night, my dentist died from an old lady who ran a red light during bike week and another friend badly messed up from a lady who also ran a red light. I hope all turns out alright for you.
As for the insurance thing, I was just stipulating what insurance companies use to value their policies. Most have different rates and different requirements depending on the region. One may include car rental, one may charge you seperately. One may require your vehicle to be garaged or pay additonal fees or not get qualified. Another may not care if the car is parked in the seedy part of town. That's why its important to know how insurance companies give you the rate they do.
