Default XJR MAF sensor type

Hi,
I recently discovered that XJR uses LNE1620BB style MAF sensor and XJ8 uses the LNE1620CB style sensor. I have an 2000 XJR (VIN F17371) with a LNE1620CB style sensor. (Denso DMA0114 to be exact.) Does anybody know do i have the correct type of sensor? Seems like XJRs have both types of MAF sensors.

Usually when i drive 80-100kmh the engine starts twitching and i get restricted performance/engine failsafe mode messages flickering. In very rare occasions in low speeds below 20kmh the engine stalls.
(If a clogged fuel filter makes this kind of symptoms, then they should be over soon.)

See part 1, there is a breakdown of sensor PN by VIN. Not sure about cross compatibility.

Well, now it all becomes more clearer. LNE1620CB has a picture of MAF sensor on British Parts and LNE1620BB has a picture of the MAF sensor housing. Jaguar Classic Parts has also picture of the housing as the MAF sensor. This fooled me to think that supercharged and naturally aspired engines had MAF sensors that weren't interchangeable.

Now i found out that the old sensor that used to be in my car for a short time is a LNE1620BB. I will try if it still works.

Thanks anyway for both of you for trying to help me!

If I remember right, the xjr sensors are designed differently from the xj8 to allow for sensing the increased airflow due to a boosted engine. The actual sensor and the plastic surrounding the sensors looked differently shaped, I think. Maybe that changed in the aj27 cars.
